Performance
The Preliator has a total speed of 206.9 mph / 333.0 km/h at stock. At MAX it has a speed of 242.2 mph / 389.8 km/h. At MAX+PRO it has a speed of 265.7 mph / 427.6 km/h.
The Preliator’s performance is similar to that of the ONUK Sazan LM. This places the Preliator, in terms of performance, in the range of mid Class B. It cannot compete with the McLaren MP4/8.
The acceleration of the Preliator is horrid at stock but improves substantially as it is upgraded. When compared to older vehicles such as the adjacent ONUK Sazan LM, it becomes apparent that the Preliator also has an abnormally large Tuning Kit bonus for acceleration.
Usage
Due to the wider availability of other Class B vehicles, the Spyker C8 Preliator sees little use in Career Mode, while it is overshadowed in TLEs by other vehicles with higher ranks.
The Spyker C8 Preliator is useful in Classic Season multiplayer at , where it mainly competes with the McLaren MP4/8 and Peugeot SR1.
Assuming the player has another vehicle with a faster acceleration stat, the Spyker C8 Preliator is more suitable to be placed as a slot 2-5 vehicle in the Gauntlet, where its good top speed can be used to its fullest potential without being handicapped by its acceleration or nitro efficiency.
Price
The Spyker C8 was originally obtainable only by completing its Championship event. As of the 2020 Halloween Update, the can be purchased for 870,000. Between April 19-23 2019, it was available for 8,000. After the 2019 Halloween Update, it was sold as an exclusive vehicle for 4,000.
It was part of the 44th Multiplayer Season, Black Ice Season, as a Champion League reward. Players who already own the C8 Preliator would win a Free Class A Upgrade instead.
As of the Hot Winter Season Update, upgrades require 55 of each Rare Tires, Rare Suspension, Rare Drivetrain, and Rare Exhaust, 60 Rare Engine, 60 Rare Tech, 160 Spyker C8 Preliator Kit, and 6,800,000.
